I guess I don't see the scam, at least from what was posted on the bb. The guy has buyer's remorse and wants out of the purchase. He doesn't say he will sell for what the underbidder offered... just that he wants to talk about selling the item.

It may be contrary to eBay rules, but I don't see anything illegal or fraudulant.
