I felt well enough to venture into the vault this afternoon and pick up Mr Hendrix's Flying V. Elvis's Jacket and Gold Chain stayed in the safe today as did Jimmy Page's 'autograph'. 3 unique pieces out of around 50. More pics some day. Combined value of these 3 a mere $2.5m.

Many rock stars hailed from the district of north west London I was brought up in, playing regularly in our own local club. Bowie, Roger Daltrey, Pete Townsend, Elton John, Jimmy Page. Robert Plant lived in the next street. No shortage of them where I am now either. Ive seen Eric Clapton at the gas station several times and we have Ozzy and the Gibb brothers. A few sportsmen also including some golfer youve probably never heard of (Ernie Els).
Funny how these guys all come down to my level at the school easter parade etc.
