Bought one of these $5 Ely Mustang chips a while back. Looking at the auction I was fairly certain what I was gonna get, a W-value chip that had been cleaned till there was no dirt or value left! Sigh. Still a chance to have a very hard to find chip that fit into my collection. Paid the right price for it and if you hold it to the light just right... Kept an eye on this chip as they kept showing up on . Got no beef with the seller, it's obvious to me that he isn't a chipper and really isn't out to deceive, just not up to speed on our chip collecting conventions. Anyway, here's The Last Chance (maybe! ) to score on these babies. Browse the naivete and puffery and the pretty good pics and decide. The hotstamp at one time was similar to the $1 dovetail.
