I tend to agree with most of what Terry noted above -- if it was buyer's remorse (or some other reasonable explanation) and within a certain timeframe, a refund sounds right. On Terry's second point about seeing a similar item selling cheaper on , no refund. There is a value attributed to actually having the chip versus the possibilty of not being the final high bidder on an auction. I don't agree with Terry's analogy about finding it for less on several other websites...why should you (the seller) pay for a buyer that hasn't done their due diligence.
To me, a deal is a deal...and if there are not extenuating circumstances requiring a refund, I feel that you must stand by your "word" to either buy or sell at the agreed-upon price.
And again, a refund for a $5 or $20 item -- sure!! But for a $1200 chip, I'm e-mailing EVERYONE for some help on determining value.
