I believe the jetons with spelling SAN REMO are from the series used prior to the last series (SANREMO); before the introduction of the euro. My SAN REMO jetons were collected in the early-90s... and I remember when Bob Hermans and Fred visited the casino a few years ago they returned with jetons reading SANREMO. Of course anything is possible... like both the SAN REMO and SANREMO jetons being used at the same time.
