I grew up in a pretty rough part of Southern CA and I learned two things rather quickly....BAD things happen to stupid people...and if you go looking for trouble, you'll find it for sure.

I've been to most of the So CA Cardrooms in the wee hrs of the morn when the parking Lot is def NOT the place you'd want to be....simple solution is the Vallet...overtip him and he'll make sure nobody gets near your car

I don't wear things that will call attention to me (like an expensive watch)..I don't mess with the people there...and I realize that I'm in THEIR backyard.

I've never had any trouble...not even close.
