Yes I have. It is extrememly limited! It's one of those types of database where what you see is what you're stuck with. You have no ability at all to alter, change or manipulate the reports. To me, thats just plain nuts. It's the reports that are the second most useful tool in a database program.
I played with probably 4 or 5 different database programs, and all of them fell far short. I used Checkmate, collection explorer, and a bunch of other. They all stink. They all have serious shortcomings. Some worse then other. I'd say Checkmate is the least bad of what I tried. Compared to the versatility of Collectors Assistant, and the ability to customize anything in the program...the features, Checkmate isn't even a close second.
Sure I'm biased, but remember, I wasnt to original writer of the program. I bought it, just like I bought all of the rest. This was the best of what I tried, and when I called the owner and original writer, he was eager to make improvements. That was the beginning of the program we have now.
Then...take into consideration getting well over 3,000 high quality scans, and preloaded collectgion listings, there isn't a better value available anywhere.
Like the guys say on Hair Club for Men: I not only sell it...I use it!
