I chose to do this in public? Perhaps you misunderstood me. I merely asked if you had seen my post from two days ago, and if you wanted to keep it to private email, all you needed to do was to email me. If you need a simpler explanation, I'm not sure I can help you.
You're pissed about my treatment of just Vic Galante? Is that all? In your earlier post, you said you were blocking me because I treated "everyone" that way. Clearly, that's not the case, and that's why I thought someone had hacked into your account and was making posts that portrayed you as someone who had lost control.
I'm surprised you describe me as a "pit bull" against Vic Galante. Would you say you fit that description when it comes to your ale-related responses to David Spragg? If not, then may I suggest you're a bit of a hypocrite.
Your defense of Vic is admirable, but the fact remains that he refuses to make good on his previous swindles. The amount of his scam might be "mice nuts," but the point is that Vic sold out his personal reputation completely for that pittance - and continues to post here as if nothing was ever wrong. Perhaps you and he could become trading partners, because you're both losing market share rapidly. In fact, Vic's strategy is exactly the way you put it: he hopes people will forget about his scams, so that he can continue his scams with others on this board. Ain't gonna happen.
To be honest, your postage and handling charges are quite reasonable. But if you had blatantly overcharged for postage, and claimed you would not combine shipping and then proceeded to combine shipping, while continuing to solicit trades on this board, you'd get all the crap that Vic is getting - and you'd both deserve it.
Do yourself a favor. Find out what's really bothering you, and take steps to address or control it. People often write header-only posts advising you to adjust your dosage, but in all honest concern, I am told there are medications available which do a fairly good job of getting a grip on bipolar conditions. If you have recently experienced a personal tragedy, my sympathies are with you, but this group of people with a common hobby quite often bands together and offers a lot of non-chip-related support. Don't alienate them unnecessarily.
In closing, I'll repeat that you are an above-board, knowledgable chip dealer, with an amazing inventory of scarce chips at very reasonable starting bids on eBay. It is quite unfortunate that whatever is presently bothering you has balanced out those qualities to the point where you're just another dime-a-dozen dealer. You could have been so much more to the hobby.
Best,
WMD
