I had to cover at the Box Office today and was opening a roll of quarters. I noticed one of the quarters was very dark, so I set it aside. I counted the rest of my money then looked at the dirty quarter.

It wasn't a quarter. It was an American 1803 Half Cent!

From my coin collecting days I can say that it grades a g on the obverse, and a g+ on the reverse.

I'll try to have a friend scan it, but I don't think it'll scan well as it's so chocolate brown.
