You should never take the bid at one min left in the auctions as being any where close to what the final bid will be. Most of the bidding will happen in the last 15 seconds. If 8 bidders are bidding on a chip, 3 or 4 will try to get a bid in at the last second. The one who bids higher than the second highest bidder will win for a little more than the second highest bidder. Put in the highest bid you are willing to pay and the second highest bidder will set the final price. If you are getting outbid by a small amount, that does not mean that you would of won if you bid a little higher, You might of still been the second highest bidder and just run the price up a bit more. The highest bid always wins!
