I have over 40,000 sports cards and I do not think that the grading that has been done with them has helped one bit. I do not claim to be an expert, but the cards that worked so hard to attain, when I was a kid are worth diddly squat, monetarily, unless they are graded highly. I'm not the one who says that the market is.
Forget the money for a moment. Its no fun to flip through a stack of 1/4 inch plastic to show off some cards to a friend. And I can imagine the same can be true with slabbed chips.
