I think that if what what we're talking about is information, a better avenue - and one that, as far as I know, has no restrictions as to being "members only" - would be for manufacturers/distributors to set up exhibits during the show.

It would certainly benefit members who are interested and would further the Club's educational mission.

If it's freebies/handouts that are desired, nothing is preventing the manufacturers/distributors from making contributions to the registration bags as some casinos and other businesses have in the past.

If someone would like to contact the Convention Chairman and volunteer to contact those companies to find out if they'd like to exhibit at the show and/or make donations for inclusion in the pre-registration bags, I'm sure he'd welcome the help.
