Because ebay is so successful at what it does ... why would they want to change a successful formula? The bidders are the key. If bidders would refuse to bid on $10 shipping on 1 cent bids ... then (and only then) would it stop.

Obviously, some customers like it that way. They must think they are getting a bargain for $10.01.
