This is just my 2 cents, but it seems that this is a "storefront" that get items from other people and sells them on commision via ebay. These services are becomming very common and caters to those who do not have a computer, internet connection or do not want to deal with the hassle of auctioning their goods. The "service" is getting the information from the actual owner, and using it as part of the description. Unfortunately, they do not always check on accuracy/authenticity of items being sold, as they may not be knowledgeable of the items or have immediate data available. What I do not like about this type of "storefronts" is that anyone can dump ill gotten goods without having to prove ownership, and remain anonymous. These services are appearing in strip malls, there is one close to me. They charge around 10% commision of the final sale price, take care of paying the ebay fees, picture hosting, shipping and packaging the item. They are basically your new version of a "consigment" store.
