I have Chipco "Crystal Oyster Casino" chips for my home games, and some of the red from a $5 chip bled onto a white $1 chip. These chips are stored in an aluminum case, usually in a cool room, so I think it is the contact with the other chip that may cause the bleeding in this situation, and not the climate.
