I guess this "genius" has never ventured past the strip and seen the equal poverty that there is in Las vegas or the people with problem gambling wandering the streets trying to get a meal.
Let's face it, Problem Gambling is just as bad as problem Drinking...Las vegas blends the two...hardly something for this author to tout Vegas' legacy on.
"Tribal casinos were sold as solutions to the state budget crisis..." Another lie....the compacts NEVER required the tribes to pay a cent to the states...they did so on their own accord to the tune of $$ MILLIONS each year. Arnie was just trying to make it permanent.
