Justin; There is nothing wrong with your scan. What you need to do is to crop out the background color using a circle cutter. I use MS "Picture It" software.... which is what I use on every chip that is illustrated in my A.C. Catalog. I'm sending you an email of your plaque scan that has been cropped. You'll see a big difference.
