When we have to do this fo NASA, we use what a called "adiabatic sensors". I t mean that no energry (light) is allowed to leave the device. No one In know is going to buy one, but you can mimic it's behavior.

This is not important for scanning most images, it's just a picture.

a ten thounsand dollor chip is different, I do those for people often.

My mention of what you are accualy doing was, meant for a member who advised trickery to scan images.

ask your self: would you buy some of the old Vegas material from a picture/image?
