Your information might be correct but I have heard conflicting stories.
I think Andy posted in regards to this sometime ago but I'm not 100% sure.

What makes me a bit suspicious about your information is that to the best of my knowledge, there was never a redemption notice.
I'm sure that information might have appeared here on the board if someone had seen the info.
