... trouble with Poker Stars. Even with my new computer. During tonight's tournament, I was disconnected from the Poker Stars site three times (although my internet connection remained intact). I missed several blinds and lost a total of 280 chips while disconnected.

I also play on Party Poker and Paradise Poker and rarely get disconnected. When it does happen, I get reconnected within a minute or two without having to do anything. When I get disconnected from PS, it never reconnects unless I close it completely and re-enter the site. Which also takes much longer on Poker Stars than the other sites. I was so frustrated a few weeks ago that I just went all in right after I got reconnected so that I wouldn't have to play anymore.

These problems have taken most of the fun out of these tournaments for me. I will not play on this site for anything other than the ChipBoard tournaments. And I'm close to packing it in even for those. ----- jim o\-S
