It's amazing how any pet can become such an integral part of your life. We had a cocker/poodle mix all the time our daughter was growing up, they were inseparatable. When Joan went away to college poor Daisy couldn't cope. We still have fond memories of that dog and its antics. It's nice that you could replace your dog.
