I know many on this board can identify with me when I say that we lost a dear family member Sunday when we had to have our 15 year old dog put to sleep. He was a loyal, smart and loving companion.

The happy news is that as soon as my daughter heard the news she was on the internet and found a little dachshund that needs a home. The doxie that already owns us is very co dependant, so he needs a new companion as much as we do. I encourage anyone else who loses a family member pet, as we did, to rescue another pet that needs a home. We will miss Deogee, but we are anxious to meet little Maddie.
