I've been trying for over a year to get a carpet remnant from the casino at the MGM.

The carpet layer finally told me when he was trowing a new roll end remnant in the dumptster.

I picked it up, and cut the biggest piece I could with what I had to work with, trying to keep the MGM Lion in the carpet.

I then brought it to a carpet place where they squared it and bound the four sides.

I now have a nice area rug in my loft, and I have some more carpet left to make two more smaller area rugs.
