I haven't looked into this to see if it's real or not, but I don't think it's that easy. Not saying a thief's friend working in a car dealership couldn't make a key, but if you just walked in I think they would ask for some kind of ID. I know I have a GM and the key came with it's own serial number for duplication. Barry
