I would never say that new collectors deserve what they get. Some are naive and too trusting maybe. That does not mean they are stupid.

Welcome to the duped club lol My dupes weren't so bad but I have paid 20 for a chip that was worth 10 a few times before I learned.

I too have noticed a few coming out of the woodwork. I was lucky , I picked up a few "rare" mint chips up for 9.00 each when a game was on T V or everybody was sleeping. I have seen those same rare chips on "Many" times since then and going for more. How rare could they have been??

My biggest problem is I like the ebay rush. I started with ashtrays before chips and went nuts long ago. I still have no clue what I have or what they are worth. I did have fun buying them. I still buy them once in awhile but not nearly as much.
