Watch that text messaging, it can get VERY expensive and I tell you this since said that you have gotten your daughter a cell phone.

I attend classes at Wichita State University during the day. Most of my classes are 90% of the 18 to 25 year old crowd and then there is me at the ripe old age of 42. A LOT (over 50%?) of the students in these classes, mostly females, will have their cell phones laying in their laps during class and they are constantly sending and receiving text messages the whole class period! They can tap out their message on the cell phone faster than I can type on a keyboard!

Also we have some friends that have teenage kids and they have told me about some really, really scary cell phone bills ($300 to $500) they have had due to their kids texting their friends all the time. My son has a cell phone but fortunately he hasn't figured it out yet!
