I left early Sunday for what was supposed to be a two day trip to Southern Cal. with my niece. After the 2nd day, we decided to go to Camp Pendleton to take care of some personal business for her while her hubby is in Iraq.

That decision changed our trip from a quick, fun adventure to a four day tour through Hell. After 4 hours of unbelievable runaround on the base we went 30 miles in 3 hours on I-5! My blood pressure hasn't come down yet! How do you big city people live like that?

Tomorrow I'll get busy with the Zaslawsky collection and answering dozens of emails and phone messages. That will be after I wake up in hopefully 14 hours or so!
