If you bet a money line, it's what you get for every dollar bet.
Say the line on the Super Bowl is New England 1.20 (don't have a clue, didn't look) if you bet $20 for NE to win you will get $16.60 back, or 83c for a dollar, plus your bet -10% or $18 which you pay up front.
Now I need someone to correct me, if it's wrong, it's been awhile?
If the line is balanced, the house doesn't care who wins, because they get 10% of everything bet.
