BUT
I'm not sure what "I can indeed hold the whole lot of them in one hand." meant.
So, I did a test. BTW, both, my cashier and shift manager thinks I am crazy. They were kinda busy changing the shift.

I held my palm straight out and told the shift manager to load it with chips. He put 6 racks 2 wide and 3 high (600 chips) in my palm (roughly 13-15 LBs.) I told him to put two more but he said if I dropped them he was not helping to pick them up.
According to my test:
"I can indeed hold the whole lot of them in one hand"
Could mean anywhere between say 15 chips and 600 chips.
I still think I could have went to 800.
