Derek and Dale shared a table at the convention for several years. I shared a table with Jerry Birl right next to Dale and Derek at one convention. Derek, as I recall, was into mother of pearl, not ivory.

If it was Derek Gene was referring to, I think there are a large number of ivory collectors in the good ole USA with larger collections.
