I re-ordered your numbering sequence. Seems to work fine.
3) Turn on computer
1) Open cd case
2) Remove cd from cd case
5) Open cd rom tray
6) Place program cd into cd rom tray (face up)
7) Close cd rom tray
9) Install program
4) and 8) Minimize the porn pop-ups
