Thanks Paul.
Although I haven't had the best sales experience with Jackpot, if we all supported them and more people sold there, it would be better for all of us.
In other words, if it became "the place to auction casino collectibles", it would be in the best interest for all of us.
I attribute the lack of sales and no bids on my items, to the fact that not enough people are looking at Jackpot.
How come Silver Strike collectors seem to have their own marketplace, outside of eBay? (that's Jackpot)
If more people go to Jackpot and buy and sell, then even more people will come looking and, buy and sell. Right now the whole site seems rather stagnant?
By the way, they need to get a better system for billing sellers and keeping track of it. I paid my invoice immediatly and two months later started getting notices for non-payment. I ignored them and Jackpot either gave up on the 50c (or whatever I owed) or finally figured out that I paid already.
There is nothing that says we can't use Paypal payments for Jackpot auctions. You can pay anyone for just about anything.
So if everyone wants to support a group who has supported chippers, and we have some sort of commitment and migration, or at least a trial period where we get together and put some items up there. It may grow.
If we all just sit and complain about how eBay is stabbing us, but do nothing, it's never going to change.
For those who prefer Buy It Now pricing, go to one of the other sites that offers straight sales.
ps I have no personal interest in Jackpot nor do I benefit from them or any other sales site. (except my own web pages of course) I wish I had eBay stock from ten years ago.
