.... with everything you said. However, in the first example you gave, the bidder had a clear picture of the seller before bidding, and the trust was probably not there from the start.
I leave feedback immediately upon receipt of payment, and I always send items immediately if I have an address, as chippers are the greatest people and ebayer's I have ever come across !!!
Having said that, I also agree that protecting one's feedback is important. I just had one of my very rare "no-shows" last week that is a (5) ..... however, rather than risk a retaliatory Neg, I just bidblocked him and went on with life and will relist the silly chip ....
