The Dorado Beach Resort and Casino is in Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico. Most of the chips from this casino have the "DB" logo as the only means of identification. Some others also have, "Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico". Dorado Beach is along the north shore of Puerto Rico about an hour west of San Juan. The particularly chip shown is the only one known. It has the Horsehead Right mold and is also stamped "BJ-6". Which means that it was for use on the sixth Black Jack table. It is the only casino that I know of the put table numbers on non-roulette chips.
How I got the chip is another story. Some may remember my mirror story. Here is a brief synopsis. I saw an eBay auction for a mirror decorated with chips and tokens glued to the edge. I could not make out any the chips from the scan. I decided not to bid, as did everyone else because of a high minimum. After the auction was over I emailed the seller and after several MONTHS made a deal. Most of the chips came off the mirror easily after freezing to make the glue brittle. This is one of the chips from the mirror.
