With the new season of The Apprentice starting January 20, is anybody interested in a chip pool?

It would work like this - Each of the potential 18 apprentices would be represented by a chipper. As each apprentice wannabe is fired, that chipper would send one $1 chip to each of the remaining chippers. The result is that each chipper would be risking up to 17 $1 chips. If you are fired the first week, you would be out 17 chips. If your candidate makes it to the halfway point, you would break even. If your apprentice wins, you would be ahead 17 chips.

This would combine a chip pool with the fun of a shotgun round robin.
