I have no clue if they did or not.
They were made when PS would make chips without signed releases.
I would think getting releases on that many stadiums in that many cities would be next to impossible. You would not only need MLB, IMO you would need the owners of each stadium to sign also.
If the pictures are in the public domain, IE: clipart, they might not have needed releases in their thinking. MLB might think differently.
