I and others believe the value of old NV chips is in jeopardy due to some greedy chip dealers and collectors that do not care about our hobby. They only care about the $ to be made.

Today Allan and I were discussing the names being mentioned of people, that have had chips repaired.
Allan: Has XXX been mentioned?
Gene: Not that I have heard and I don't believe he would ever do it. IMO he has too much integrity.
Allan: You said the same thing about YYY and we now know he did.
Gene: Yes, its a sad state of affairs.
