Here are 5 xrays of the chip from 2 different positions. Also below is Allan Myers comments.
The repaired drill hole in the rim does not show on the xrays. Only the pluged hole under the inlay where the clay was taken from to repair the drill hole, shows on the xray.

The chip is unbelievable. I can't see any evidence of a repair on the chip or on the x-rays.

The chip is larger than the film so I took 5 different pictures. Number 1, 2 & 3 are with the "1" horizontal and the single insert at 3:00. Different areas of the chip are seen on each of the 3 photos.

Number 4 & 5, the "1" is vertical & the single insert is at 12:00.

I can't see the original drill hole anywhere on the rim., only the area where the plug was taken under the inlay.

The top 2 films are #4 & 5. The small dots at 11:00 are in the film to tell which side of the film you are looking at.

The bottom films are #1, 2 & 3 and the dots are at 1:00. These dots are in the film and are not from the chip. I see a circle at 6:00 on #5 but it is from my scanner glass. It is not on the film. I will send the films to you when I return the chip.
