I got this for my NCV collection. It's from Don French's Bonanza in N. Las Vegas. 5c white chip that is overstamped with the "Indian Chief" marking and the words "Non-Negotiable". TCR lists it as a Cancelled chip, and this overstamp is known to have been used to cancel chips before.
Any thoughts on whether this might be a chip used by Bonanza for some promotion, and really a NCV? Not much reason to cancel a nickel chip today, but in the 1960's, maybe. There are other examples of cancelled NCV's, like the dovetails from Nevada Club, Las Vegas, which are known drilled.
