I was in Hays a week ago and it was below zero when I left the Holiday Inn to catch a plane at that hub of airline activity, the Hays Regional Airport!

Made a stop in Great Bend (another hub of airline activity) on the way to Kansas City. My townhouse is bigger than the Great Bend airport terminal!

The plane was very cool, 9 rows of seats and each seat was both an aisle seat and window seat! The co-pilot was also the cabin steward, and the girl who checked my luggage and issued my boarding pass was also the person on the tarmac with the orange batons parking the planes!
