Over 125,000 now feared dead. A nephew is visiting Sth Thailand on vacation to see old college friends teaching English during their gap year. We have been unable to trace them.
My wife is a volunteer worker for Third World Aid, which is based in my home town. I spent most of the day from 7.30am arranging fund raising events for next week and printing/distributing posters for them. We aim to raise Ģ10,000 ($19,000). We hold stocks of bedding/linen/blankets (reserves for homeless people) which need to be flown to the affected areas first thing tomorrow. I will therefore spend the night making trips to the airport with aid packages.
