Pete, thanks for the questions and for wishing us success. I believe success comes through good planning, hard work, sincerity, and convincing customers of which side their bread is buttered on. The reason for the eBay statistics was simple and I am not going to belabor that. Suffice it to say that the averages indicate that some chip sellers are actually losing money listing on eBay. I believe they may need to recognize that first before being convinced to look our way.
In regard to the average 13 item clicks, they are not site visits, but are actual item thru-clicks divided by the total number of items. Your 13 curious people would have had to click every single item for that to happen. (There are no curious people on eBay? Did you intend to bid on the grilled cheese sandwich? )
As for your two questions, perhaps you missed my earlier posts in that regard "Why sell with Collecting Fun (15 reasons)" and "Why buy at Collecting Fun (11 reasons)". I will post these again on the board. It may be that these will not be sufficient to convince you to do so. In that case, please let me know what you are looking for that will convince you to list with us. Be assured also that we will soon be at par with eBay, or better, in regard to number of views for chips, for the simple reason that we are niche oriented. And our sellers and listed items, as well as our advertisements, will increase, driving more and more customers to Collecting Fun.
