Robert, I had another chip that the inlay had popped loose in one spot. There looks to be a layer of some sort of paper-like material under it, but the top part is certainly metal. Call it foil or whatever. It looks and feels like metal.... bends and stays bent like metal. Do you have an old black or blue Kentucky Club or old Flamingo chip to bust open to see if they are all made the same way?
