I was upset, like everyone else a few years ago when ith brass core altered chip issue came up. I love brtass core chip and had purchased a lot of them. I hate the fact that some of them may have been altered. I have never given much thought to the issue since then until these last few days. I read all the posts and the past publications from our club. I didn't realize what a complicated issue it is. Seems there are lots of members with many different opinions. I agree with most of what I have seen posted on the board. I do not agree with those who think chips should not be cleaned. I clean all of mine if they are dirty when I get them. Also, I kinda have mixed feelings about flattening out warped chips. I'm undecided at this point on that issue.
Maybe I'll read more posts that sway that opinion.
