I was a stamp collector.

Before I got married, and sold everything I owned trying to support the marriage (that's probably more information than you wanted), I was a stamp collector.

IMHO the SE/Collector chips flooding the market today are roughly equivilent to the stamps issued by Russia/USSR in the 1960-70 era.

Those stamps were, in effect, counterfits produced by the Soviet government, solely for the collector market. Pretty trash, but totally without value.

Anybody with any sense avoided this mass produced wall-paper and concentrated on older stamps that had validity and known value.
