Andy..the Barge chip arrived. I love it. Thanks so much for going the extra mile in the name of fairness. This is a perfect example of why you have so many friends.
For those that don't know what I'm talking about, let me explain:
Andy ran the Survivior contest again this year. I had gone through the different posts to see whom had chosen what survivior. That was very time consuming since most people didn't think about putting their picks in the title! So i (like everyone else) opened all of the posts and wrote out who was taken.
When finished, I looked at who was left, and made my pick of who I thought would win. Then I posted it.
The following day, I checked the chipboard and my emails and found a post from Andy who had said that my pick (Chris) was taken already. I thought "No Way...I was careful!"
I reviewed the posts, and found that somepone else had picked Chris, but their post wasn't there when I picked Chris. The tiome stamp was clear, he had posted before me. But still, my picking Chris post was before the other person's. They had AOL. There was a delay. But still...the other person's time stamp clearly showed they posted first.
Andy, in his spirit of goodness and fairness, said that if my guyt won, he would make sure I got a prize too. I would win the Barge octagon plaque.
I havent had a chance to scan it yet, but Im sure you've all seen it.
So again, Andy, thank you. You didn't have to, but you did.
