4) Never pay by personal check?

I just bought a note that was greatly undervalued I asked the seller to ship it priority and insured. This was to assure me the seller (after taking a healthy loss) would indead ship it and it would not 'get lost in the mail'.

Some sellers do not take electronic payments and many do not bid because of it, thus price may end up low (and a bargan). Plus a check is very 'trackable'.
