Back when my wife and I were pretty much still newlyweds, we had a black and a blond cocker. We got them as pups THE VERY SAME DAY we moved into our first house. My wife, Debbie, was sooo excited she could hardly stand it, they were our first children. When they were both around 10 years old, we ended up having to put them both down within a 2 years of each other as both ended up an abdominal cancer. It just tore us apart!

As a pet owner you know the day will come when you have to do it and man it is a killer! My wife swore she'd never have another dog. My kids worked her over and after a few years she caved in. We went to the humane soceity and got a terrier-black lab mix and to make a long story short, the dog gets treated better than I do.

So I just wanted to tell you I can feel your pain and rest assured knowing you have done right by your pet!
