I have personally seen these "fantasy" type items all but ruin the baseball card and 45 rpm record collecting scene.
Several years ago fake Pete Rose rookie cards stated showing up with letters indicating that they were repros. The problem, of course was that the cards themselves looked real and without the disclaimer they were sold as originals.
Same thing with Elvis Sun 45s. This to me is worse than slabbing and I hope the club tries to oppose "fantasy" chips with vigor.
