Broward County Commissioners approved 8 - 1 to
continue with plans for a referendum on approval
of Slots at pari-mutual facilities. Might be a
good time to collect a few chips from Florida
off-shore casino boats while they are still operating, as Slots at conveniently located race tracks (dogs, thoroughbred & harness)will certainly cut into the off-shore day trips.
Big player will be Isle of Capri's Pompano Park
Harness Track located just off I-95 in North
Broward County & catching all the traffic from
Boca Raton, Palm Beach & points north.
